Collateral registry (HBNY, GKZONY, ZONY)

When I say chattel mortgage I mean pledged property which remains in the possession of the obligor. The registry’s are managed by the Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries authentically state the establishment of chattel mortgage, of a lien contract that establishes mortgage of assets, or of judicial or administrative decision aimed at the creation of a mortgage relation.

The act is compulsory.

HBNY

The registration is a 2 step process, first we need to register the company and one of its representative. For this, the chosen representative must appear in front of us and must make a „declaration of identity”, we will need a valid identity card / passport and a residence card. In case of a representative who speaks and understands Hungarian, the cost of this is 18.000,- Ft, if he or she only speaks English please contact us for the exact price.

After this we can make the Collateral Registration, according to the filled out document ( https://www.mokk.hu/ugyfeleknek/kerelmek.php ) This will cost an additional 25.000,- Ft if the representative speaks Hungarian.

 

 VONY

The notary passes an order on request on the establishment or changes of mortgage and on the establishment of other data related to the mortgage and provides for their establishment.

GKZONY

The Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries operates the public, authentic national registry of mortgage rights encumbering unquestionably identifiable things (vehicles) and provides data from the database upon request.

The act is compulsory.

The entries on the establishment, modification or termination of the mortgage are ordered electronically by the notary in a non litigious procedure, and the notary also provides for their recording in the mortgage registry based on electronic statements.
